Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: 4 August 2026

Angie's Heart of Hope CIC wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disabilities.

What we've done

  • Used clear, structured headings and semantic HTML throughout the site.
  • Provided descriptive alt text for meaningful images, including our logo.
  • Aimed for readable text sizes, clear colour contrast, and a responsive layout that works on phones, tablets and desktops.
  • Made navigation, buttons, and forms operable by keyboard, not just by mouse or touch.
  • Kept our AI chat assistant optional — all the information it can provide is also available directly on the relevant page.

Known limitations

This is a new website, and we have not yet completed a formal accessibility audit against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. We're aiming towards WCAG 2.1 AA as a target, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-off task — we'll keep improving as we learn more, including from feedback.

Feedback and contact

If you find any part of this website difficult to use, or need content in a different format, please contact us at angieheartofhope@gmail.com. We'll do our best to help and to fix genuine barriers where we can.

Enforcement

If you're not happy with our response, public sector bodies have a formal enforcement route via the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS); as a small community organisation we're not currently subject to the same statutory accessibility regulations as public bodies, but we hold ourselves to the same spirit of inclusion.
